With the “visvim ARCHIVES,” Tokyo’s Isetan Shinjuku department store presents an exhibition celebrating visvim’s 15th anniversary. The exhibition features selected from visvim items past collections curated by designer Hiroki Nakamura. Taking place in the seventh-floor art gallery of the Japanese store the exhibition also features a coffee stand manned by Nakamura’s little cloud coffee. Open until April 11 only 100 visitors will be accommodated at a time, so if you are in the Tokyo area make sure to pay this special event a visit.
Haven´s buyer team is giving us a glimpse into visvim’s FW16 showroom during their latest trip to Paris for Mens Fashion Week. Highlights included classic visvim mountaineering and western influences with naturally dyed nylon jackets as well as various renditions of traditional Japanese style Doterra’s and Sanjuro’s utilized in traditional western textiles such as Harris Tweed to create an odd, albeit appealing juxtaposition.
