Nepenthes introduced their latest project, the first issue of The Garment District Journal, a publication "Investigating the world with observations and conditions of our time between objects, people, words and conversations." The GDJ will be a seasonal publication that features a collection of writing and photography. Issue number one includes an interview with Jeremy Lewis/Garmento Magazine, “3 PM” editorial by JIMA, a look back at New York’s Level Plane Records, a dig through Steve Terry/Wild Life’s archives and more.
Nepenthes New York presents their latest editorial entitled “Don’t Hold Me Close,” featuring a selection from Engineered Garments Spring/Summer 2015 collection. The lookbook showcases some great layering with notable pieces like The Shop Coat, Andover Jacket, Workaday Hoody, Enfield Jacket, as well as some nice floral and pattern shirting from the collection. The editorial was shot by photographer Andrew Jacobs and the styling comes from Michael Baquerizo who also worked for Gentry.
Here is another look behind the scenes from Engineered Garments presentations for their SS 2014 collection.
