Leo Tatemichi´s Pompon Cakes on Wheels

If you ever visit Kamakura in Japan and wander through the city streets you might keep your eyes open for a guy riding through the streets on his three-wheeled cake stand. Leo Tatemichi is selling delicious baked goodies and pastries, Leo is the owner and baker of Pompon Cakes, making delectable cakes like apple pie, carrot cake and Savarin. Originally studying architectural design Leo moved on to open his own cake shop and selling his products on the streets of Kamakura.

FvF visits Fashion Director Stephen Mann at Home

Berlin-based interview magazine Freunde von Freunde paid fashion director Stephen Mann a visit at his house in the north of London. Located in Haringey a suburb with a bad reputation, Stephen and his girlfriend Genesta renovated a gutted Victorian terrace from the ground on up. “We wanted something clean and not too fussy, somewhere we could relax without being distracted by too much clutter,” says Genesta. Stephen Mann works as fashion director of Inventory magazine and creative consultant for Arc’teryx and has also done projects for Missoni, Rapha and Norse Projects. In his very comfortable and personal home you´ll find a lot of furniture from Vitsoe like the 606 shelving system installed in the lounge, kitchen, spare room and bedroom as well as the 620 chairs, the 621 side tables and the 610 wall panel system. The imposing wooden kitchen unit, wardrobe and bathroom fittings were designed by Dean Edmonds for the couple. Everything in this home is beautifully arranged with a functional and understated approach.
