I really love checking out the blogs from some of my favorite retailers especially when its order season and some of these buyers are taking the time to document their impression when abroad. And when the guys from Carson Street Clothiers are on the road you can expect some nice shots, giving us an insight on the showrooms of some great brands. Visiting Visvim’s Marais headquarters is one of those highlights. With a carefully thought out and well-curated showroom the Japanese designer Hiroki Nakamura presents his collections consisting of traditional Japanese garments with a vintage Americana inspired influence. For such an interesting array of garments, it should come as no surprise that the showroom housing such pieces is equally intriguing. The space features exposed brick, sandblasted walls, clean white display tables and centuries-old wood beams. Natural light pours in from skylights built into the roof. Visit Carson Street Clothiers for more interesting behind the scene footage and watch out for Visvim´s Spring/Summer collection dropping soon.
