Architecture site Dezeen is giving us an inside look at Instrmnt´s first shop located in Glasgow. The Watch brand´s physical space offers their customers to browse and purchase their minimal watches. Inside, the flagship store features grey rubber flooring and white painted walls to create a canvas for the products on display. Equipped with furnishing from British company Vitsœ and Danish brand Hay as well as lighting provided by London-based Folk the overall minimal aesthetics comes to live in the store.
With Nike´s latest instalment the footwear giant takes you behind the innovation and beyond the imagination presenting “The Nature of Motion” short film to unveil the Nike Free RN Flyknit. With NikeLab elevating the latest Nike Free technology, Nike has been committed to the natural motion of the athlete; Co-founder of the renowned sportswear brand Bill Bowerman thought the ideal sneaker should act as a “second skin to the foot”.

George Nakashima is a woodworker who has studied at the University of Washington and MIT and has traveled the world. When returning to the US, war broke out and forced him and his family into the Japanese concentration camps. But none the less he and a detainee started to make furniture from scrap wood and old army cots. Cereal Magazine came to visit the woodworker on his Pennsylvania farm, giving us a glimpse at his beautiful estate and work.
New York´s highly anticipated brand Aimé Leon Dore is back presenting their latest range for Spring/Summer 2016, drawing inspiration from Beth Lesser, a Reggae photographer and writer who closely documented the rise of Jamaican culture in the 80’s. The Collection is titled “Kingston, 1983,” and features 36 pieces consisting of trench coats, cotton throw-overs, linen t-shirts and tank tops, polos, a cotton knit cardigan, henley and hoodie, short sleeve mandarins, linen pants, shorts, a fleece hoodie and crewneck, a long bomber and a coach jacket.
With the “visvim ARCHIVES,” Tokyo’s Isetan Shinjuku department store presents an exhibition celebrating visvim’s 15th anniversary. The exhibition features selected from visvim items past collections curated by designer Hiroki Nakamura. Taking place in the seventh-floor art gallery of the Japanese store the exhibition also features a coffee stand manned by Nakamura’s little cloud coffee. Open until April 11 only 100 visitors will be accommodated at a time, so if you are in the Tokyo area make sure to pay this special event a visit.
